At Genius Coffee, we fuse specialty coffee craft with on-chain transparency. Every bag we roast is backed by Genius Coffee Token (GCT) on Ethereum, with each batch recorded from farm to cup so buyers can finally see the full story behind their coffee.
We start with traceable, specialty-grade lots.
In coffee, beans are usually split into commodity-grade and specialty-grade. We only buy specialty-grade lots that score 80+ on the SCAA 100-point scale – clean cups, minimal defects, and strong origin character. But we go further: every approved lot is mapped into our Genius Coffee Token (GCT) system, tagged with farm, altitude, harvest date and processing details, then committed to Ethereum. That means each batch you drink isn’t just “high quality” on paper – it’s a verifiable, on-chain record you can inspect.
Freshness, verified from farm to cup.
All Genius Coffee beans move directly from farm partners into our roasting facility. We keep a strict rule: every green lot must be roasted within 9 months of harvest, and we log those dates in our GCT-powered system. Harvest date, arrival date and roast date are all recorded and tied to the batch on Ethereum, so “freshness” isn’t just a promise – it’s a timestamped trail you can follow. For the best flavor and sweetness, we recommend enjoying our coffee within 6 months of the roast date.

Every Genius Coffee batch is roasted in-house by our roasters. Before roasting, we hand-filter out defects, sieve for consistent screen size, and run moisture-density tests to keep each lot within our quality range. Then we tune roast profiles through small parameter changes – charge temperature, heat and exhaust, drum speed – until a lot’s sweetness and clarity peak. Once a profile is locked in, that roast curve and batch ID are linked to Genius Coffee Token (GCT) and written into our Ethereum-based traceability system. The result: a roast process you can taste – and a production history you can actually verify.
